Feliz semana

Do you think that the metabolism is all matter of genetics? Your metabolism is slow and you believe that you can never change it? Is the storage of fat a problem for you? It is true that genes play an important role in relation to basal metabolic rate and fat accumulation, in addition physiological parameters such as gender, age and hormones are also determinant.
Today we will give you guidelines to try to activate our metabolism naturally. We have found several studies showing that certain foods and habits can help us to achieve this.Join us to see how to improve your metabolism!
GUIDELINES TO SPEED UP YOUR METABOLISM
1. Balance circadian cycles (each food has its best moment to be metabolized and used). Drink water regularly, spread the calories you need to nourish your body throughout the day, according to a regular schedule (At least 3 meals a day and 2 snacks).
2. AT breakfast: never forget a good source of protein. It has been shown that eating protein at breakfast helps to activate metabolism since the morning. Therefore it is essential to take a balanced breakfast paying special attention to the contribution of lean protein (Yogurt, greek yogurt, eggs, ham, turkey etc…) and healthy carbohydrates (fruit, oats).
3. At lunch and at dinner, avoid excesses. The more balance your diet is the higher your energy expenditure and your body won´t store fat. Always take carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts).
4. Take food and teas that speed up the metabolism:
5 – Increasing muscle mass by performing physical exercise aerobic and anaerobic, moderately, on a regular basis. If we increase the muscle mass your body will more easily become a «fat burning machine» even when you’re at rest. Due to the fact that muscles use fat as first fuel when you are at rest. The more muscle you have the more fat your body naturally burns.
6. Avoid to wear a lot of jumpers, coats in excess and try not have very high heating at your home or at work. This can be a smart manner to allow our metabolism to be a bit higher trying to keep us warm. In the winter, it is preferable to be with a thin jumper at home than with a vest. In addition, colder temperatures help us to be more active and to think better.
Concluding, it is true that genetics are there, but lets try these tips and speed up your metabolism naturally!
Happy week!
